Poles' Incomes on the Rise

May 27, 2011 The year 2010 proved another year of improvement as far as Poles' wealth is concerned, with the average disposable income per capita increasing to PLN 1,193, stats office GUS acting president Janusz Witkowski told the daily Gazeta Wyborcza. Poles' incomes grew both in nominal (7%) and real (4.3%) terms. Food took a smaller share of household spending, which is also an indication of improving situation.
