PJN founder to join ruling PO party

June 28, 2011 Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, a founder of the new, conservative Poland Comes First (PJN) party, will today move over to the ruling Civic Platform (PO) party, Polish media reported. Kluzik-Rostkowska, who quit the PJN two weeks ago, will become a member of the PO parliamentary caucus this evening, the PAP news agency reported. The PJN was formed in late 2010 by a group of defectors from Law and Justice (PiS), the main opposition party, who had clashed with PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski and his allies. According to some polls, the PJN does not have enough support among voters to make it into parliament in this fall's elections to the lower house. Source: The Warsaw Voice
