Last holiday

Brad: How was your last holiday? Juliet: It was horrible. Brad: You went to Bahamas. It couldn't have been that bad. Juliet: It was. First - the hotel. They were still building it when we came. Our room was not ready. We had to sleep in the lobby. Brad: What did you do with your things? Juliet: We had to carry them with us. We had no place to leave them. Brad: And what about food? Juliet: It was awful. Tom was sick for most of the time. I was so hungry but I couldn't eat those horrible meals. Brad: You must have missed coffee. Juliet: Yes. You know I love coffee. I missed black coffee with cinnamon. But the coffee at the hotel was just terrible. It looked like mud and tasted like mud too. Brad: Did you do a lot of sightseeing? Juliet: We planned to but we lost our money. We had no cash and then Tom lost our credit cards when we were swimming. Brad: What did you do? Juliet: We asked the embassy for help. But then it turned out that Tom... Brad: What about Tom? Juliet: He is a criminal. I didn't know about it. He stole an expensive painting few years ago. So they arrested him. Brad: I'm so sorry... Juliet: Well, I'm sorry too. He told me he earned all this money during his gap year in Italy. And I believed him. Well, love is blind. It was suppose to be our beautiful honeymoon but it was a nightmare. Of course I will be waiting for him when he leaves prison. Brad: Life is full of surprises. Juliet: Yes. Not all of them are nice!
