Interviewer: Monica, we invited you here today because you are one of the most popular radio presenters. Our listeners would like to know more about your job, life, passions. Monica: I will be happy to answer all your questions. Interviewer: Have you always wanted to be a radio presenter? Monica: No. I dreamt about working as an actress. Unfortunately I get very nervous in front of the camera. I tried couple of times but I wasn't very good. My uncle, who is a big fan of the radio, suggested me working as a presenter. Interviewer: Was it easy to get a job here? Monica: No. Many people wanted to work as radio presenters. I had to be better than the other candidates. I worked for free during first two months. Interviewer: What advice would you give to young people who dream about becoming radio presenters? Monica: They should work on their voices. It also helps to be interested in news, politics, culture. Interviewer: Do you prepare for the interviews? Monica: Yes, every time. I talk to very important people and I have to be prepared. It is a part of my job. Interviewer: What is your favorite thing about this job? Monica: I love the energy here. Every day is different. I meet fascinating people. I am never bored. Interviewer: What are your plans for the future? Monica: I am going to Paris next week to prepare an interview with famous French designers. Interviewer: You are lucky! Monica: I know.
